However, we can all take a lesson from Bill and his persistence. We tend to think of people like Bill with disabilities as being handicapped. However, in terms of persistence the vast majority of us are handicapped, we don’t measure up to Bill. Here’s a man that people would make fun of and even call “retarded” because of the way he spoke and yet year after year he shunned rejection eventually became the salesman of the year. So I ask myself what excuse to I have to ever give up given what Bill Porter went through.
